(top) Last summer I was at the east end of Goodman st. yard watching trains when I got lucky enough to catch a CSX office car special.

(middle) I wish I knew ahead of time it was coming, I would have found a better location to shoot (damn tree!).

(bottom) 9993 & 9992 continue east towards the signals at 367.

(top) Today I caught CSX's B-791 at the Amtrak station in Rochester. They were heading west out of the yard towards the Charlotte runner to switch the box factory.

(middle) Here is B-791 approaching Lake Ave. The box factory is just beyond the underpass.

(bottom) This is the "going away" shot from the other side of Lake Ave. as B-791 reaches their destination.

(top) So, today we stopped in Lyons, N.Y. and the Finger Lakes Railway dropping a cut of cars for interchange to the CSX. At first I thought it was just the former CR B-23, but thanks to the helpful engineer we discovered....

(middle) ...that they had brought along 2201 the Lehigh Valley inspired unit. We caught it sitting at the silos at the east end of the interchange track.

(bottom) After they finished their drop they coupled back onto the unit to head back south to Geneva, N.Y.. What a handsome lookin B Boat !

(top) At the northern end of the R&S is the Mathew's and Field's lumber. I had just told my wife yesterday " I should call and find out when the R&S is coming to pick up that car, I've never been able to catch them in Greece.". So today, after I dropped her off at work I drove by and caught them just getting ready to leave.

(middle) As they headed out off the gate I backed across the street to get a better shot.

(bottom) Here #46 crosses Stonewood rd. heading south back towards the yard.

(top) Here is 46 heading south across Dewey Ave at Barnard Crossing.

(middle) #46 is seen here approaching McCall rd.

(bottom) The last shot is of #46 clearing McCall rd.. Beyond this spot is Ridge rd. and the Eastman Kodak Co.
